Skokie Village Hall is a part of the Village of Skokie in Illinois, which operates economic development, finance, fire, health, police, purchasing and human services departments. The village also has a community development department that includes building, zoning, planning and property standards divisions, as well as issues building permits, business licenses and certificates of occupancy. The Village of Skokie provides engineering, leaf pick-up, street sweeping, sidewalk replacement, solid waste and recycling management, water and sewer maintenance, and flood, snow and ice control services through the public works department. It maintains the Village Manager's Office, which administers the enforcement of village ordinances, recommendation of policy alternatives and preparation of an annual budget.
