Madison School, founded in 1961, is located in Skokie, Ill. The school enrolls approximately 450 students in prekindergarten through second grade. It provides special education and English Language Learners programs. Madison School s staff members include subject teachers, psychologists, speech therapists, social workers and counselors. The school offers special classes in art, music and physical education. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, math, science, social studies and English. Madison School features a TOPS Preschool, which provides developmentally appropriate play-based curriculum with an emphasis on literacy. The preschool provides morning and afternoon classes for children between the ages of 3 and 4. The school is a part of Skokie/Morton Grove District 69.
