- Pediatric CareKids’ Health Partners follows the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics for routine preventive health visits and recommended vaccinations. We feel that the safety and effectiveness of current vaccines is strongly supported by current research. The following is our recommended schedule for immunizations and checkups.
- Primary CareA: Not according to Kids Health Partners, but most of our families enjoy the continuity of seeing the same doctor for well visits. Insurance plans vary however, as to whether or not a Primary Care Physician (PCP) must be chosen. We have a wonderful team of pediatricians and we hope you have the opportunity to meet all of them. When scheduling appointments the staff will always ask which doctor you would like to see and will work within the parameters you provide us to find an appointment for your child.
- ImmunizationsWe do not have the pediatric Covid vaccines in stock at KHP. For information on where to get Covid vaccinations for you or your children (ages 6 months and up), go to www.vaccines.gov and put in your zip code. You will find a list of local pharmacies, public health department clinic sites, and hospital sites that can provide the vaccine. For children ages 6 months to 3 years who are too young to be vaccinated at pharmacies, contact a hospital system (Northshore, Lurie Children’s, or Advocate) to make an appointment for your child. Please contact us if you have further questions.
