About 7 years ago we were looking into getting a heat pump and A/C for our home... and went with Ponderosa because they offered the best warranties, etc. even though they were one of the highest bids we had gotten...It has been a total disaster ever since from the time it took them 2 weeks to install with workers without any previous experience and on the job learning... the job was completed and it took 3 different time for the inspections to pass... 2 years ago was disaster again... long story... And now... the A/C wasnt working properly so we had Central Oregon Heating come out and take a look... the freon was leaking and some where in the system was a pin hole allowing it to escape... and there were a couple of suspecious places where it was leaking at... then to find out... Ponderosa had sold us a unit that was 5 years old already...just where did that unit come from as we found out that the shelf life of any unit should only be 6 months... and now because of what has happened we are now looking at replacing the old old unit that Ponderosa sold us as it is shot... so never again will we use Pondereso for any of our needs.... Shame on you Ponderosa... you shouldnt even be in business today... and you should be held responsible for this but the statue of limitations has ran out on us...
