Recently, I sold my home to a buyer who is using US Bank as their lender. We were supposed to close on November 1, 2016 and the closing is now being pushed out to November 15 even though everyone made a commitment to November 1. I am just furious. Now I have to come up with $400 to continue to rent the home I currently purchased until closing. The underwriting/mortgage staff at US Bank has had the appraisal report 2 weeks. They are ignorant, slow and a bunch of Sioux Falls hillbillies lying around on their asses like they have all the time in the world to close this transaction. This is unacceptable!! In addition, US Bank was one of the major players in the 2008 recession, giving mortgages to people who should never have had them. Anyone who banks with this bank ought to have their head examined!! If you want to "ef" up your mortgage, go ahead and do business with this bank. As a former manager, I give US Bank a D- for their performance.
