John Morrell & Company is among the oldest meat manufacturers in the United States. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Smithfield Foods, a producer of processed meat and fresh pork. It supplies more than 3,000 products. John Morrell manufactures hams, hot dogs, bacon, lunchmeats and smoked sausage. The company s products are marketed throughout the U.S. and internationally. Its portfolio of brands includes John Morrell, Dinner Bell, E-Z-Cut, Farmers Hickory Brand, Hunter, Iowa Quality Meats, Kretschmar, Peyton's, Rath Black Hawk, Rodeo, Shenson and Tobin's First Prize. It operates nearly 10 United Stated Department of Agriculture-approved meat facilities. John Morrell & Company is headquartered in Cincinnati, with a location in Sioux Falls, S.D.
