Children's Care Hospital & School, formerly known as Crippled Children's Hospital & School, offers a range of health care and educational services for children with physical disabilities of age up to 21. The center was established in 1952 and serves more than 2,000 children. It also operates an 18-bed rehabilitation and medically complex unit. The center offers medical care programs, as well as occupational, speech language and physical therapies. It also operates various specialty clinics that provide medical services for children. The center has a staff of more than 450 people that includes a dietician, physicians, nurses, teachers, psychologists, and physical, occupational and speech therapists.
