The Sioux City Musketeers are in the United States Hockey League with 143 NHL players and 230 college commitments. The Musketeer players are active in the community throughout the hockey season. One program they participate in is "Reading is Cool"; this is a program where the players go to the metro schools in Siouxland and read to children K-5. Muskie players not only read to the children but bring hockey equipment to show and explain the game of hockey. Charity Events: SC Musketeers host a variety of charity events throughout the season, "Pink in the Rink" for the Susan G Komen Foundation, "Face Off" for Charity for Boys & Girls Home, "Teddy Bear Toss- Toys for Tots" with the United States Marine & Winnavegas Casino. SC Musketeers have the largest & most active booster club in the USHL.
