East High School is a secondary school offering educational instruction to students in grades nine through 12. The high school is a part of the Sioux City Community School District and has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students. It teaches various subjects, including language arts, home economics, English, social studies, science, physical education, math, business education, foreign languages, and family and consumer science. The school also provides special education to students with special needs. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities to students, including band, choir, student council, yearbook, newspaper, orchestra and photography.
