Kerr Measurement Systems is a privately owned company specializing in the design and manufacturing of products for the oilfield wireline industry. Most of its products are centered around wireline depth and tension measurements. The company operates out of a facility in Rosenberg, Texas. Its facility includes an electrical assembly and test lab where the company assembles and tests electronic panels, interconnecting cables, load pins and other similar devices. Additionally, Kerr s lab contains a wireline test loop for testing measuring heads and cable marking units. The company also has other in-house processes, such as welding, precision grinding, sheet metal fabrication, rubber molding and piezo-electric crystal transducer assembly and testing.
