Simi Valley Adult School and Career Institute is one of the largest adult educational institutes in Ventura County. Based in Simi Valley, Calif., it provides adults more than 130 occupational, academic and vocational classes. A division of the Simi Valley Unified School District, the school enrolls over 11,000 students annually. The institute provides a number of medical and dental training programs, computer software classes and welder/machinist training programs. In addition to accommodating individuals with disabilities, it provides business technology testing services, counseling and a student store for books and supplies. The school holds accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Simi Valley Adult School and Career Institute offers students the High School Diploma, General Educational Development (GED), occupation training and welder certifications.
