My parent have paid for home owners for 8 years, then have a small electrical fire and they say they arnt goin to cover it. SCAM

their business was not a favorite f mine my dad paid for is home insurance and life insurance for over 10years with this company and my dad passes and they tell us that his life insurance policy had lapsed years earlier and that the insurance on the home was basically null and void this really hurts me what are we to do makes u think who's a good company????????????????????
