Located in Sikeston, Mo., the Division of Probation and Parole provides assessment, investigation and supervision services. The division offers case management, employment assistance and substance abuse treatment services. It also utilizes electronic home monitoring equipment to restrict the movement of juveniles and adult felons. In addition, the Division of Probation and Parole maintains various community release centers that offer medical care and vocational training services to its residents. The division is a part of the Missouri Department of Corrections, which provides counseling services. The department additionally administers the Missouri Sex Offender Program (MOSOP), which includes treatment, educational and rehabilitation services for sexual assault offenders.
