My mom entered Life Care using a walker, and left so weak that she needed a wheelchair. The staff was letting her sleep all day, not making sure she could eat, and was not communicating with each other or the family. If you have a loved one with Alzheimer's, who needs assistance with eating, Life Care is NOT a good choice for your spouse or family member! Also, be on hand to make sure your loved one has oxygen and receives pain medication - my mom's roommate had to wait over an hour one day to get her oxygen restored and to get an aspirin.

My mom was a patient at Life Care for 2 months and she received incredible care. The nursing staff are kind and caring. The food was great and the hallways don't smell. Once she was done with her inpatient therapy she came back to the facility for outpatient therapy with the same therapists. It was a good experience for our family and I would highly recommend Life Care to anyone needing therapy.
