Established in 2000, Arizona Ambulance Transport provides long-distance transport service dedicated to specific hospitals and communities. Based in Sierra Vista, Ariz., the service provider operates a fleet of nine Type 2 van ambulances and two Type 3 critical care transport ambulances covering multiple communities of Southern Cochise County. The firm primarily transports patients from the Southeastern Arizona Medical Center (SAMC) to Bisbee, Sierra Vista and Tucson. Since 2007, Arizona Ambulance Transport became the primary emergency and non-emergency provider for the Fort Huachuca military installation in Sierra Vista.
