Ross Aluminum Foundries has been supplying quality aluminum castings to a range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, manufacturing and specialty industries, since its establishment by William Ross in 1931. Customers count on its foundry knowledge to help determine the combination of alloys, casting methods, melting practices, gating design and heat treatments for their product performance criteria. Some of the products the company offers include green sand, permanent molds, dry sand, plaster ceram and squeeze castings. It also offers a range of services, such as partnership design/troubleshooting, on staff experienced metallurgists with knowledge in more than 20 alloys, prototyping/computer aided design capabilities, pattern facility for wood and plastic patterns, complex castings with sand-free small cored passageways, certified inspection and radiographic capabilities, tooling transfers, precision computer numerically controlled and virtual motion controlled machining and heat-treatment for a range of tempers and alloys.
