I have loved my stay with this complex. I have stayed on at least 5 others in the Shreveport area and have never been as satisfied as I have been with me beautiful 2BR apartment. I love having the attached garage right below me! I feel super secure and I have tons of storage! I would recommend someone to stay on this property.

Ok, maybe there are 2 Reflections of Island Park. Or, maybe things have totally changed. Either that, or the other 2 reviewers were EXTREMELY confused. First of all, this is the 3rd apartment complex I have lived in in the area and it is the nicest by far. The manager is extremely nice and helpful. I can hear my neighbor upstairs occaisionally, but that is to be expected with any complex. As far as "calling for packages," every time I get a package they leave a note in my mailbox. Yesterday I received a Fedex package. The manager wasn't sure that Fedex left a note, so she asked the maintenance guy to drop the package off to me. I am extremely picky when it comes to construction. This place IS well constructed. The walls ARE NOT paper thin. In fact, all the walls dividing my unit from the neighbor are 5/8" sheetrock and are fully insulated. (figured this out when hanging shelves on the wall). Rent is a little more than other places in the area, but well worth the money.

I agree with the previous review. The walls are paperthin and if you have a horrible neigihbor, like we did, you can hear their every move. Any complaint to the office is like talking to the wall. They look at you like you are stupid and don't do anything about it. The pool is nice but when summer came, they drained it to work on it. We also had stains on our carpet when we moved in. Having a garage is nice. You definitely want upstairs, so you won't hear the people above you walking around.

The construction in the apartment is horribly done. When we moved in, there was red paint on the stairs, the toilet seats had cracks in it, the walls had scratches, the floors were very uneven all throughout the apartment. We didn't have warm water when we moved in, they had to come and adjust the temperature. There was a huge problem with bugs that they did not get fixed, we were told to buy bug spray ourselves. You had to literally call the office a few times just to get something done and most of the time, it still did not get done. They never call you to tell you there is a package for you in the office.The parking is horrible. The manager has been rude numerous times. The maintenance man was nice, that is about the only good thing. I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone!
