- Tax ServicesEric graduated from Louisiana State University in Shreveport with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Administration in 1999. He later received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2013. He came to our office in 2011 after working for the State of Louisiana for 7 years. Eric specializes in personal income tax preparation and handles the billing for the firm.
- Income TaxHeath Crager, CPA, LLC was established on April 15th 2010 with the purchase of Charlie Marable Accounting Firm. Charlie Marable built a practice with hard work and great customer service for small business owners and individuals. It was well balanced in write-up, taxes and payroll services. Using Charlie’s existing base and values we were able to triple that business in 5 years and continue to grow at a rapid rate with customer service and a great staff that cares about our clients businesses. In January 2016 we added Smith and Company to our family which was founded by R. Lewis Smith in 1996. Lewis built his practice as a consultant for Sage Mas 90 software. With a staff exceeding 10, we are now able to help small to medium sized businesses reach their potential and goals with services that include income taxes past and present, monthly write-up, live payrolls, LLC and corporation setup, business consulting and quarterly sales and payroll taxes.
- Tax Return PreparationLauren graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Accountancy in 2023 at Louisiana Tech University. Lauren worked as an Administrative Assistant, including a role in accounting, at a Consulting Group for 5 years. She has experience in QuickBooks, Certifiex, Excel, and CCH Access. Lauren's role includes payroll, bookkeeping and tax return preparation. She plans to sit for the CPA exam soon.
- Accounting ServicesTracie came to our firm in 2010 as the receptionist and data processor. She soon worked her way up to payroll specialist and accounts receivables. Her responsibilities include office managing, AR, HR, payroll processing and non-profit bookkeeping. Prior to working at our firm, Tracie gained business administration and accounting experience as Office Manager and Payroll Administrator for over 10 years with a local company.
- Payroll ServicesJacob graduated from Louisiana State University in Shreveport with a Bachelor of Criminal Justice in 2015. He later received a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting in 2021. He came to our office in 2021 from a warehouse manager position in the local area, looking for a place to grow a career. Jacob excels with Excel and has been trained in Certiflex and CCH Axcess. He has been able to fill various roles including payroll processing, bookkeeping and personal income tax returns.
