About Our Practice Richmond Pediatrics has been serving the health needs of our community at the same location for over 45 years. Many families have trusted us with the care of their children and adolescents for two and even three generations. We specialize in the care of infants, children and adolescents combining the latest diagnostic technology with the talents of a highly skilled staff. We emphasize preventive medicine as well as the treatment of acute illnesses and the management of chronic disease. From the initial care of newborns at the hospital through the medical and psychosocial needs of our adolescent and college-age patients, we are delighted to welcome our families over these many years. It is our hope and intention that you receive high quality medical care in a personal setting and in an enjoyable manner. While most people identify a doctor visit with illness, there are at least two other important areas of our expertise: the first is an increasing awareness and concern for wellness care the well-baby-visit, preschool exam, kindergarten preparedness physical and school, camp, sport and college check-ups. The second is the evolving area of consultation. While we are not pediatric psychiatrists, we would enjoy helping you explore the area of behavioral pediatrics which encompasses life's daily family problems and school issues.
