Horrible!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. Took 2 pair of husband's shorts to have new zipper put in them.......Granted it was a day they were not open, but she took them anyway and told us they would be ready in about 2 weeks. We were going out of town and told her no real rush. She said she would call when she had them done. This was August mind you. We got back and didn't give it a thought until the end of September. We called and she told us she had misplaced them and they were not finished. OK.....She knew where they were and she would call when they were done. Again we waited, now it's the end of November and still no call. We called her again and again were told not done she will get them finished finished ASAP and call us. Finally the middle of December and she calls. OK finally done 4 months later. Odd hours for pick up around the holidays.....OK I get that. Finally get over to get them yesterday and she CHARGED 45 dollars for 2 zippers that took her 4 months to get done... Unprofessional in my opinion. Very very disappointed!!!!!! Could have discounted or something. Won't be using her services anytime soon. Not a happy customer!

Need dance costumes for big show. We needed a quick turn time. I would highly recommend Libbey, she did a great job for a fair price and with a short amount of time we were nervous but she came thru and saved the day. THANKS Libbey.

Betsy has been doing all of my sewing for many, many years. This includes zippers on heavy leather jackets, major alterations on pant suits and formal dresses, to hemming lined drapery. No job seems too big - even though I definitely give her the challenge. Her work has always been exceptional and the timing punctual. She takes pride in her work and it shows. It's like she is sewing for God - hence "Sew Blessed"?

Absolutely horrible service. Asked her to fix a dress zipper and a leather jacket zipper, she took them in saying she could in the time restraint I need the dress in. It took her six months for the jacket and the dress was not even close to fixed. There was a huge hole like she didn't finish and was very very snippy with me when I called to check if I could come try it on days before the date it needed to be finished. Not to mention the sewing job completely fell a part. Charged me $30 for the dress that was basically destroyed and way too much for the jacket she had for way too long. Not good service at all. I wish I could rate in negative stars, will not be going back there again.

I trust Libbey with my alterations. She does a beautiful job in a timely fashion on formal dresses as well as informal work (hems on pants, etc). My husband is in the Army and we left the area in 2013. In the fall of 2014, I needed alterations on my bridesmaid's dress for my friend's wedding. I took it to a local seamstress in Missouri, where we were living at the time. The woman took months to do it and botched the job. Luckily, the wedding was in NY, so I came home a couple days early and had Libbey fix it for me. She did a great rush job, fixing the shoddy work done by the other seamstress. The dress is so beautiful that I can wear it again! Thanks Libbey!

I've been taking all my suits to Libbey for alterations and her work is excellent! Her prices are fair and she always completes the work in a timely manner. I'm glad that I have Libbey as my tailor and I'd recommend her work to anyone.

Libbey is the best. She is always so helpful, timely and great at her sewing. I had 4 work skirts from the 80's that I loved but were to small and she was able to take out pelts, etc. and make them bigger to fit once again. I was sooo excited to have my skirts back (which are still in style) and be able to wear them again. Thank you Libbey:)

A really find! I need A-line skirts for work and can't find anything that I like in stores. Libbey created great custom patterns and now I have one-of-a-kind professional skirts! She's a lovely person and accommodating in every way. Her prices are fair and it is a pleasure to support a local business and wonderful person!

Thank you so much to Libbey for going above and beyond to fix my Mother of the Groom dress for my sons wedding at the last minute. A HUGE "Thank You" to Libbey for opening her doors to me on a Sunday morning before church to assist me in finding the "perfect" gift for my church's new Deacon (Deacon Burch, in celebration of his Installation to Grace Lutheran Church). It was an extraordinary circumstance to make such a request of Libby but, I was unprepared due to flooding clean-up issues consuming my time at my home . I had lost track of the date and found myself in need of a gift on the very morning of the installation and gratefully Libbey came through for me! :) She not only found me the specific gift I was looking for, she also had several other selections available for me to consider! As my brothers wedding was approaching (4 days before) my daughter had tried on her dress and it needed extreme alterations upon seeing the sign Libbeys and sewing I entered not knowing what to do-Elizabeth went out of her way to size,sew,resize and also open up her shop on hours when she was closed! The DRESS looked beautiful and so did my daughter! Would highly recommend this to anyone of sewing needs-also very friendly atmosphere and very reasonable rates! after ordering a gown from a bridal shop in the size they insisted I needed that needless to say was way to big,I took it to Libby..she took the dress apart n made it into a completely different style of which I could not been happier!!! I am back there now for dresses for my sons wedding n again very pleased with her work!!! I very highly advise anyone needing alterations of any kind to go here!!!!

I lost 15 lbs from sress. After paying $270 to a bridal shop for alterations my dress hung on me like a sack. I was beside myself I couldn't even think stright. I took my dress to a seamtress in Sherrill where she was having her family reunion. She opened her shop for me because I was a mess. She took my dress in and it fit to a T. Only $50 I should have gone to Libbeys in the first place. God bless Libbey in Sherrill for making me feel Beautiful in my dress again. bumblebee

Excellent work !!! Her work with leather is amazing and she was fast. I'm only sorry I didn't have my other coat for her to fix while I was at the show in Old Forge.
