Formed in 1975, The Help Group is one of the largest voluntary organizations in the United States. Located in Sherman Oaks, Calif., the firm specializes in serving children with special needs related to autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD, mental retardation, abuse and emotional problems. The organization features specialized day schools, which offer prekinderten through high school programs for more than 1,300 students. The Help Group has received certification from the California State Department of Education.
