Mohamed Darwish, MD, is an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist who has been practicing medicine for over 11 years. He provides care for patients of all ages. Darwish treats chronic rhinosinusitis, sinonasal tumors, allergies, and other otolaryngology conditions. He offers office-based treatment options. He’s also an assistant professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology — Head & Neck surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Darwish focuses on personalized care and that patients are involved in every step of the process and fully understand their treatment options. He strives to provide compassionate and holistic care, taking into account all aspects of a patient’s well-being. His patients say they value the level of attentiveness he provides and appreciate that he takes the time to listen to their concerns. He received his degree from Cairo University in 2009, followed by his internship and residency at Cairo University Hospital, where he was promoted to ENT consultant. He pursued his dream of practicing medicine in the USA, where he successfully completed a two-year ENT fellowship at the Maryland Nose and Sinus Center in Baltimore. This was followed by a one-year advanced rhinology and skull base surgery fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Darwish is deeply committed to staying current on medical advancements so his patients receive the most up-to-date treatments. He has extensive experience utilizing state-of-the-art devices and procedures to treat nose and sinus diseases. He prioritizes patient education and empowering patients with the knowledge they need to take an active role in their health. Darwish is a member of the American Rhinologic Society. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
