General Info

I received my medical degree from University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iasi, Romania in 1992 , completed a residency program in Ob/Gyn in Romania and another (internship and residency) one at UTHSCSA 2003-2007. I served as Assistant Professor of Ob/Gyn at UTHSCSA for 3 years between 2007-2010 and currently as Clinical Assistant Professor of Ob/Gyn for UTMB Galveston. Caring for patients and training residents and students has been the greatest privilege of my life. I preceptor nurse practitioners students from Texas A&M Corpus Christi College of Nursing & Health Sciences, St Angelo University , Simmons College and enjoy sharing my clinical knowledge with them. I am a member of several prestigious societies, including the American College of Ob/GYN, Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society , AAGL. After working as hospital employed in Kyle, I launched a solo private OB/GYN practice in south Austin in 2012. Since the inception of the practice, thousands of patients have entrusted their care to me. Seven Hills Women's Health is the first Ob/Gyn practice in Austin awarded the Safety Certification for Outpatient Practice Excellence - SCOPE- by ACOG in 2014. I certainly love what I do. Our busy, referral based practice is testimony that this approach suits better prospective patients of all ages. The time I spend with each patient demonstrates my commitment and shows them the respect they deserve. "Per aspera, ad astra"- is my motto and life philosophy.
