Sheldon High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. It offers academic programs in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally offers classes in business education, family and consumer science, Spanish, industrial arts and agriculture studies. Sheldon High School has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, such as football, golf, tennis, cross country, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, baseball, softball, and track and field. It supports the Future Farmers of America and student council, as well as dance, band and choir clubs. In addition, the school employs counselors who provide guidance and support services to students, teachers and parents. Sheldon High School is located in Sheldon, Iowa, and is a part of the Sheldon Community School District.
