Texas Gas Transmission is a part of Williams Company. Williams, through its subsidiaries, primarily finds, produces, gathers, processes and transports natural gas. The company operations are concentrated in the Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountains, Gulf Coast, and Eastern Seaboard. An integrated natural gas company, Williams produces, gathers, processes and transports clean-burning natural gas to heat homes and power electric generation across the country. The company produces 900 million cubic feet per day of natural gas production in the United States and abroad; maintains 3.9 trillion cubic feet equivalent of natural gas reserves in the United States and abroad. The company replaced its 2006 U.S. wellhead production of 276 billion cubic feet equivalent at a ratio of 216 percent. It holds interests in Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma, with international interests predominantly in Argentina. The company was named the 2006 Hydrocarbon Producer of the Year at the Global Energy Awards. Texas Gas Transmission is located in Shelburn, Ind.
