We were very hurt and sadden by the actions our child's team took with our child and family. We do not know if it was their intent to hurt us, but that is the outcome of their actions. We wish we would have had the strength and knowledge to go elsewhere. We were limited do to insurance reasons. There are some good people, but some that hurt us beyond belief. So, use your gut and do not feel bad about trying it and then leaving if not right for you. Research all you can. You can even search the web for information--most school like this have facebook and such. Look to see who will be a fit for your child and you!! There are many families that were very happy with IDC too, so if you are lucky to get the right staff for your child, you too might be happy. We feel that we had the worst staff, with a few we liked, and was denined when asked for a change. Again, we were so hurt that the idea of this place still bring on sad feelings.
