• Primary Care
  WestGlen Gastrointestinal delivers the  most effective healthcare solutions in the area. Our team works closely with your primary care physician to understand your specific needs. WestGlen GI maintains close communication with our patients via our Patient Portal, keeping them up-to-date on any progress with their treatment.
• Emergency Care
  Log in to your FollowMyHealth account via our mobile app or on your browser. There are two kinds of Video Visits your provider may offer. One is an On-Demand Video Visit. This is similar to visiting an Urgent Care facility or walk-in clinic. From mobile, go to your appointments screen, tap the plus sign to create a new appointment, and tap “Show Wait Times.” Follow the steps to enable your device and select your provider. Once you’ve joined the waiting room, you’ll be notified when it’s your turn and your provider is ready. Many providers offer Scheduled Video Visits as well. Tap “Schedule Appointment” from your mobile device to see what’s available.
• Colonoscopy
  A colonoscopy is an endoscopic procedure that visually examines the entire colon with a videoscope. The inside of the colon is then examined for any abnormalities that may exist. During this procedure, polyps may be safely removed. It is recommended that all individuals above age 50 have a colonoscopy procedure done every 10 years until age 75.

  With offices across the Kansas City metro and one of the few with two female GI doctors in town, we bring convenience, compassion, and patience. Our providers are all specialists in gastroenterology with extensive experience in all matters of the GI tract.

  The doctors and staff where so helpful when I needed to get in last minute and have an upper endoscopy a few years ago. Thank you for you above and beyond customer service and bedside manner! Will definitely be my go-to!

  A FibroScan is a non-invasive diagnostic ultrasound-based device used to measure liver scarring, or fibrosis, caused by different liver diseases.  Similar to, conventional ultrasound exam, outpatient Fribroscan testing is quick, painless, easy, provides a non-surgical alternative.
