While visiting KC, my daughter took her small dog here to get groomed , She told them that she didn't want her hair short, just trimmed up. The dog was practically shaved and very traumatized. She hid under the bed for over a week until our local vet was contacted. He said the trimmer had gotten to hot and burnt her skin. He also said they were rough with her. The dog weighs 9 pounds! I would not recommend this place to anyone...ever!

my daughter took her teacup yorkie to petsmart for bathing and grooming. We were in shock when we picked her up! Her hair was cut very short, which we requested they do not do. Then they complained that it was hard to trim around her face, because she was snapping, and that is why they did not finish the grooming around her face! She is 16 months old and will lick anyone to death that comes to visit. They said it took 3 groomers to hold her to trim around her face, no wonder she was snapping and terrified! We will never take her to Petsmart again for grooming, after this experience! One more thing when we called in to ask what the charge was they snapped $39.95 very rudely. We like petsmart for their pet products but steer clear of grooming!

My dog had been bitten and the staff did not feel the need to contact me until I picked her up. When I asked about what happened I was faced with the deer in the headlights look and never received a proper answer. Staff appears to be untrained. When I pay for my dog to play I expect the staff to play with her not stand holding up the wall which I have seen on several occasions. I would not recommend this facility.
