Located in Shallotte, N.C., West Brunswick High School is operated by Brunswick County Schools and offers a wide variety of academic and extracurricular programs. The high school offers a variety of academic courses, including mathematics, English, social studies, science, career and technical education, foreign languages, physical education and fine arts. Its community college and dual enrollment programs include internships, general psychology, expository writing, American history, medical technology, electrical trades, aquaculture and sociology. The high school provides various facilities to its students, such as a cafeteria, library and computer laboratories. It has various clubs and organizations, including future business leaders of America, JROTC and international club. The high school provides a variety of athletic activities baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, soccer, track, wrestling, cross country, golf, softball, tennis and volleyball.
