Since 1960, Air-Vac Engineering Company has been one of the leaders in the development of technical products for the vacuum industry. Its initial product, the Bazooka vacuum sleeve, was one of the first technologies to help launch the company. Air-Vac s other initial products included Vacuum Transducer pumps and small parts handling equipment. In the 1970s, the company began manufacturing printed circuit board re-flow modules. The gas re-flow module product line was introduced in the 1980s and Air-Vac began to offer selective soldering services in the 1990s. The ONYX32 represents the company's latest technology for providing fully automated processing for area array rework and low volume assembly. Air-Vac operates service, training and demonstration centers in Carlsbad, Calif., and Irving, Texas. Air-Vac Engineering Company corporate headquarters is in Seymour, Conn.
