PWH was my gyn for 2 years. I recently called with a gyn problem during normal business hours, and had to leave a message to have a nurse call me back. When I explained my issue, I was told the soonest appointment (with ANY doctor, at ANY office) was 2 weeks away. I asked for something sooner, and was told it wasn't possible and my problem wasn't anything to worry about. I called another local gyn and explained my issue to them and asked for an appointment; they advised me to get to the nearest ER, that my problem was serious and I needed to be seen as soon as possible! It is almost impossible to get an actual person on the phone, and when you do, the staff seems genuinely uninterested. Scheduling a regular yearly exam is difficult, as you need to call at least a month before you actually want to be seen.
