With one of its locations in Seville, Ohio, The Society for Handicapped Citizens offers a range of advocacy, housing and home care services. The organization conducts a variety of educational programs, as well as recreational activities. It has been serving individuals with disabilities and their families since 1953. The organization operates a toy lending library that encourages active play and communication needs of children with special needs. The Society for Handicapped Citizens conducts activities to enhance living skills. It also provides opportunities for swimming, Bocce Ball, bowling and skiing. In addition, the Society for Handicapped Citizens operates residential facilities and organizes camps.
