- Dental ExaminationIt has been well documented that preventative care is the best way to ensure great dental health in the short and long-term. We believe that the best way to ensure this is through providing education to our patients on why regular dental health screenings are important not only for the health of your mouth but for the health of your entire body. It is never too late to start seeing our team for preventative cleanings and exams to ensure your future oral health will be as ideal as possible! When you come into our office, we will review your medical history with you and review how this might impact your dental health. We will also provide you with a schedule for future visits so that you can maintain that bright, healthy smile year-round.
- Teeth CleaningPeriodontal cleanings are very important for proper oral health. The primary purpose of periodontal cleanings is to preserve the health of the gums. Without proper cleanings, the teeth might be healthy, but over time the gums might deteriorate and lead to tooth loss.
- Dental SealantsFor these reasons and more, sealants are an excellent preventative procedure for children in order to reduce their risk of developing tooth decay.
- Fillings
- Resin CompositeComposite resin is a dental material that is used for cosmetic treatments and for restorative procedures, such as fillings. The material can be perfectly color-matched to the surrounding teeth, and prepared to be durable and withstand the forces from behaviors such as grinding down food. Generally, when the composite is applied to the

- CrownsBoulevard Dental uses advanced technologies to keep you on the road to oral health, or to jumpstart your journey toward a healthy smile. Laser systems represent one of the most useful technologies that dentists like Drs Wujick, Moss, Kopakin and Castillo have in their tool belts to restore the appearance and function of your teeth, gums, and other oral structures. From their offices in Clearwater and Seminole FL, they may use gentle laser devices for tissue removal, to facilitate healthy function and periodontal attachment, or to prepare the site for common dental treatments such as dental crowns.

- Dental BondingFront surfaces of the teeth for cosmetic repairs, the treatment is called “dental bonding.” When composite is applied to repair damaged tooth surfaces as a restorative treatment, the procedure or restoration is referred to as a “filling,” “inlay,” or “onlay” (partial crown).
- Restorative Dentistry
- Root Canal TreatmentRethink what you may have heard about root canal therapy. This common and straightforward treatment may be the only way to “save” a badly infected or severely damaged tooth. Additionally, this treatment provides immediate pain relief. Deep decay or oral infections can produce intense and chronic toothaches. The root canal procedure at Boulevard Dental in Clearwater and Seminole, FL resolves the pain, pressure, and other symptoms that can interfere with every aspect of your life.
- Deep CleaningRoot canal therapy is little more extensive and time-consuming than a simple filling. In fact, it can be thought of as a “deep cleaning” for the inside of your tooth. That is exactly what we are doing; we access the innermost chamber of the tooth. Once the tooth is opened, we remove the inflamed or damaged tissue. The canals that root the tooth in the jaw are reshaped, and these channels are sealed off with a biocompatible gutta-percha material, a process that prevents re-infection and encourages healing. The finishing touch is the restoration. Usually, a temporary crown is placed until the treatment site is healed and the permanent crown is ready to be secured in place on top of the treated natural tooth. If the tooth needs a little additional support, we may recommend a dental core, with or without a post. The core helps to build up the damaged tooth, while the post aids in supporting the core. If more than half of the natural crown is damaged, a post may be needed to anchor the core to the tooth.
- DenturesEven with the best care, challenges to your oral health can arise, and accidents still happen. We offer prompt, precision, conservative care that relieves pain quickly and restores the tooth in a way that it appears indistinguishable from healthy natural teeth. Our tooth-colored composite fillings, porcelain inlays and onlays (partial crowns), and full-coverage crowns are built to last. We can also complete your smile with well-fitting conventional bridges and dentures, and tooth replacement that is supported by dental implants. Implants placed in the jaw literally “root” the crown, bridge, or denture to the underlying, supportive bone.
- Dental ImplantsWhether you need a tooth-colored filling, root canal therapy, dental implants, or a tooth extraction, come to Boulevard Dental for a more than pleasant dental experience.
- Tooth Extractions
- OrthodonticsWhile our restorations are as attractive as they are functional, patients with otherwise healthy teeth and gums may wish to boost the appearance of their smile. In those cases, our dentists may recommend either direct veneers (composite dental bonding) or indirect porcelain veneers to correct chips, gaps, stubborn discoloration, or irregularly shaped and worn teeth. Alternatively, laser “power” whitening can dramatically transform the appearance of your smile and face in a single visit, while custom take-home whitening trays maintain the healthy vibrance of your smile for life. We are also proud to offer cosmetic orthodontics; Invisalign® transparent aligner trays allow patients to straighten their teeth without braces!
- Invisalign OrthodonticsDr. Kopakin is a graduate of the University of Florida where he earned his dental degree as well as his bachelor’s degree. Dr. Kopakin has received advanced training on implant restorations, Invisalign®, and cosmetic dentistry. He is an extensively skilled and experienced dentist who has helped many patents all throughout Florida treat their dental problems.
