Founded in 1838, First Presbyterian Church is a religious institution propagating virtues of Christianity. Based in Selma, Ala., the church is a place of worship for devotees, pilgrims and followers. It has several ministries, such as Adults, Presbyterian Women, Youth Ministry, Mature Adults, Music and more. First Presbyterian Church also offers various community services and initiatives. It also offers meals to senior citizens through its Nutrition Center, which is delivered through home-delivered meal program 'Meals on Wheels'. The church is a member of the Presbytery of Sheppards and Lapsley of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
