  The primary use for your medical record remains to help your health care provider keep track of your health history including all the symptoms that have brought you to the clinic, your family health history, examination and test results, diagnoses made, treatments supplied, and medications given. We might use your medical records in the following ways...
• Emergency Care
  In the event of a life-threatening emergency, call an ambulance and request transport to Grand View Hospital. Upon your arrival in the Emergency Room, an ER physician will attend to you. Please notify the staff that you are a patient of Buxmont Cardiology Associates or mention your individual doctor’s name.
• Electrocardiogram
  Electrocardiograms (EKGs) allow us to monitor the electrical activity of the heart. Echocardiograms use sound waves to help us take a picture of the heart structures. Both techniques can be important for diagnosing and monitoring heart conditions.
