John Campbell Elementary School provides educational programs to students in prekindergarten through grade four. Located in Selah, Wash., its curriculum includes physical education, mathematics, music, arts, special education, reading, science and English as a second language. Its library has a collection of more than 15,000 books, videos and audiovisual kits. Its parent teacher organization provides support with volunteers to help at school events and also provide fun activities during the year for the students. The organization offers activities and events, including help with hearing and vision screening, individual and class picture days, book fairs, cookies and cocoa and read and treat night. Its accelerated reader computerized reading management program motivates students for independent reading.
