Our breakfast bill came to $19.98 and I had a $5.00 coupon that could be used for $20.00. The cashier, who was the manager, said very curtly, "I can't take that--your bill was not $20" I was dumbfounded that for 2 cents she would not honor the coupon. I offered to pay the extra 2 cents to make the $20. The answer was no. I can't believe that a MANAGER of a company would lose a customer and goodwill (a number of people waiting overheard this) for the matter of 2 cents. I have never had this happen anywhere else. I have always enjoyed Friendlys, but not anymore. Your employees need to education on keeping positive customer relations. I am very disappointed with the attidude and treatment I received. Again, I now think of it as "Unfriendlys."
