At this point, a new appointment will be made for a future cleaning, or you’ll discuss options for treating any dental issues that have been discovered during the cleaning and examination.

  Most clients have a full set of dental x-rays taken once per year or twice per year depending on their particular situation. Clients who have problems or are showing signs of decay, infection, or have a history of dental problems, might require more x-rays on a regular basis to monitor the progress or status of their oral health.

We’ll work quickly to remove your tooth and ensure there are minimal bleeding and discomfort. Following a tooth extraction in our office, you may take over-the-counter pain medication to reduce the discomfort that is common after the anesthetic has worn off. For wisdom teeth extractions, stronger prescription medication is often needed to manage the discomfort following the procedure.
