- Hidden behind a wall along 179, this mission-like church, St. Luke's of Sedona AZ, shows merely its steeple to those passing by. Entering the gate across a large parking space, the rose garden with its fountain and Mary Shrine invites to pray, meditate and enjoy the unearthly Cathedral Rock views. In the silence of the inner of this church, holiness is felt. It is the most beautiful church in Sedona. The church is situated between the roundabouts of Chapel and Back O'Beyond.
General Info
The divine Sunday service starts at 9AM, with an exceptional Bishop as celebrant and an amazing organist. A social gathering takes place after the service, offering refreshments. The church operates on donations, which can be made through St. Luke's website: www.espiscopalnet.org. The services are streamed, showing the altar area of the church during services with an always guiding message of the Bishop.
