WIC is an awesome program to assist in feeding Women, Infants and Children. NO really - my oldest child is 25 - thank God we had WIC. I also have a 17 and 8 year old -- and THANK GOD WIC WAS THERE. The problem I encountered . . was finding a phone number for our local WIC office. I can drive to it - I know where it is located -- - just can not find the phone number for the program in the PHONE BOOK -- - PLEASE MAKE A LISTING FOR WIC IN PHONE BOOKS - white and yellow pages. And under multiple listings, WIC; Women Infants and Children; Health; infant care. I have 2 Business Degrees - - and it took me over an hour to finally find the number - - - can't begin to imagine what a lesser educated person could do to find your phone number and location.
