General Info
Dr. Kennon received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Florida State University. He completed an internal medicine internship at Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Health Sciences University. His three-year dermatology residency was completed at Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. Following his dermatology residency, Dr. Kennon completed an American College of Mohs Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology accredited fellowship with Dr. David E. Kent in Macon, Georgia. His year long training included extensive hands on experience in Mohs surgical technique, and reconstruction. Dr. Kennon has earned numerous honors and awards including the Florida State University Golden Torch Award for Academics. He has presented at national and local conferences and has published many articles on a broad range of subjects on dermatology and dermatologic surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. Dr. Kennon was raised in Winter Haven, FL. He enjoys swimming, cooking, hiking, wildlife photography and spending time with his wife and son.
