  Olivia is a paralegal and enjoys working with each of the attorneys on the Veris team. Her focus is mainly in supporting our business law practice and she works often with small business clients around the Seattle area. Olivia manages corporate files, prepares legal documents and agreements, forms new businesses, and offers her skills in research, drafting, and project management to ensure that our clients receive the best possible representation.

  Howard focuses his practice on real estate development. He has extensive experience handling the complexities associated with contaminated property, including litigating cost recovery actions, negotiating consent decrees and administrative orders with federal and state agencies, securing insurance coverage for clients facing significant environmental liabilities, and obtaining regulatory closure for complex sites. As part of this practice, he counsels clients on the risks of buying and selling contaminated property and assists them in drafting contractual protection against such risks. Howard frequently prepares and negotiates real estate documents such as purchase and sale agreements, options, leases, construction contracts, and easement agreements.

  Kevin is an experienced litigator focusing his practice on environmental cost recovery actions, construction claims disputes, and real estate litigation.  Prior to joining Veris, Kevin litigated a wide variety of civil matters ranging from personal injury and breach of contract claims, to complex trade secret, probate, and bankruptcy disputes.  Kevin assists clients through the process of claim analysis and development, pre-litigation negotiations, and if necessary, prosecuting or defending claims through mediation, arbitration, and/or trial.  Kevin has successfully tried several bench and jury trials in both federal and state court.
