The UW Medical Center, located in Seattle, specializes in cardiac and cardiothoracic care. It has a staff of professional physicians, surgeons and nurses. The UW Medical Center also has various departments, such as family medicine, genetics, obstetrics and gynecology, neurology, arthritis care, cancer, cosmetic and plastic surgery, and ear, nose and throat care. The center has 30,000 square feet of area that comprises catheterization labs and an electrophysiology and vascular angiography lab.
