Shamrock Group, Inc.Ê, was founded in 1984 by the late Don Burnham, a recovering alcoholic and advocate of progressive treatment. It follows a person-centered philosophy, by eliminating the obstacles standing between the clients and success. It focuses on a positive approach, and believes that an individual possesses the ability to achieve a fully functional life. Every individual is made to realize that they can assess their problems, and can solve them on their own. The center provides services such as alcohol/drug assessments, DUI assessments, and custody/divorce assessments. Therapeutic programs include early intervention programs, small group counseling, and relapse prevention programs. Shamrock Group accepts various insurance carriers as well as private payments. It is based at Seattle, Washington, and serves the Puget Sound area.
