Finally this store has undergone a massive turnaround! When I first moved here I was quiet worried by the leaking ceilings and dark un-painted corners. I have to congratulate Safeway on completely overhauling everything thing from installing a full service deli to hiring friendly staff that always say hello and the store is a lot cleaner than it use to be. No-longer ashamed or afraid to enter my neighborhood grocer!
This store needs an upgrade. I have a friend who was going to buy a new home in the new Holly Park and decided not to because she wanted a half way decent store nearby. Are there any plans to do so? For the most part I love Safeway. Is concentration of low income families a reason for such a store in such a sorry state.
