My mother had carpeting put down on the back porch (a small deck) in May 2011. It cost quite a bit (almost $500) but mom thought they did a good job. Then in early 2013, I began to notice a few small spots (maybe 3 or 4) and soon realized that the nap was worn away causing very dark spots in the pinkish carpet. I wondered if it was moth damage. I phoned Ravenna Interiors and it took months and many phone calls before I finally got to talk with a person on the phone.



Dave, the owner, came to mom's house in mid-summer (about a mile and a half from their shop) and he said he didn't think it was insect damage. He said he thought we spilled something caustic on the carpet. Not only did we not spill anything on it but the spots keep multiplying. There are now about a 100 of them, a few times more than when Dave was here.



Dave claims the spots would have shown up right away after installing the carpet if it had been the fault of the carpet. Not true! The fact that the spots are still multiplying all these months later shows that this is a problem with a delayed reaction. But Ravenna Interiors won't do anything about it. I asked for the name of the company that made the fabric and they never got back to me with this. Ravenna Interiors won't stand behind their work. I don't recommend them.
