McClure Middle School is an educational institution that works to promote academic, social and emotional growth of students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, science, math and social studies. The school also conducts instructive sessions in physical education, swimming, foreign language, world cultures, music, visual and performing arts, and graphic technology and broadcasting. McClure Middle School administers various sports activities, such as basketball, soccer, Frisbee, volleyball, and track and field. It maintains a parent-teacher and student association and serves more than 600 students. The school additionally maintains a library and computer laboratory. McClure Middle School is a part of Seattle Public Schools, which governs various elementary, middle and high schools.
