Lakeside Upper School is located in Seattle, and its curriculum includes art, English, history, languages, math, philosophy, physical education, science, and technology. Its languages program offers oral proficiency and functional use of language and develops listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. The upper school s study center provides students with structured and interactive academic support. Its Pigott Memorial Library provides various resources, such as books, magazines, encyclopedias and newspapers. Its study skills workshops focuses on specific topics, such as note taking, preliminary scholastic aptitude test and scholastic assessment test preparation are offered periodically. The school students help with park maintenance for the local park system. Its fall sports include soccer, golf, football, cross country and volleyball. Its winter sports include basketball, wrestling, squash and swimming.
