It was founded in 1992 to build business solutions from technologies created by some of the world's leading research organizations including Los Alamos National Laboratory, or LANL, and AT&T Labs. LizardTech's software is installed on millions of desktops and integrated into a variety of platforms and applications. The company has offices in Seattle, London and Tokyo. In addition, LizardTech is a member of organizations including International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, The Management Association for Private Photogrammetric Surveyors, OGC Technical Committee, The Association for Work Process Improvement, the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing and AIIM, the international authority on Enterprise Content Management. Headquartered in Seattle, LizardTech employs nearly 30 people at its corporate location.
