  Stevyn’s expertise ranges across employment law, corporate law and commercial litigation. He has advised on and drafted shareholder agreements for directors and companies and he has frequently been involved in litigation in the High Court.

• Wrongful Termination
  Wrongful dismissal is a dismissal that has not followed the correct process. In legal terms ‘a dismissal in breach of contract’. A common example would be where the employer has dismissed an employee, but they have not served notice where there was an obligation to do so in the contract.

  She has enjoyed great success in claims for disability, race and sex discrimination, unfair dismissals as well as unlawful deduction of wages and high-value breach of contract claims.
• Employment Contract
  Katarzyna now advises individuals and companies on all aspects of employment law. She represents senior executives and corporate clients. She deals with both contentious and non-contentious employment matters and her approach has been described as pragmatic and commercial. Katarzyna has extensive experience in drafting employment contracts, director’s service agreements and settlement agreements. She provides advice on the full range of employment law issues.

  Gross misconduct is a term used to describe an action so serious that the relationship of trust and confidence between an employer and an employee has been undermined. For example issues such as theft, fighting or sexual harassment of a colleague could be grounds for gross misconduct.
